A New Twist on "Dinner and a Show"

photos-magic-martinis.jpgLoads of big companies hire celebrities to speak at corporate gatherings, or to perform one of their old hit songs for throngs of bored shareholders. Super Chef reports on a noteworthy new trend: hiring celebrity chefs for gourmet dining...and Vegas-style entertainment. Thankfully, that doesn't mean chefs cooking in feather headdresses.

Mario Batali, who's appearing everywhere these days from multiple TV shows to video games, has put together a rather unique catering package called, "Magic, Martinis and Mario". Not only does your company get Mario cooking up a storm and mingling with the crowd, there's also a comedian/magician to keep things lively, and a world-class mixologist who'll create cocktails named after your CEOs. That's what I call a job perk!
